Ipad to be or not to be

Well the new ipad 2 has just been released its been over a year since the original was first displayed to the public and since then thier has been many discussions about weather you sound get it or not. The second version makes a good shot at a reason to get it. But at the end off the day it still does not have easy accessability to it for other software eg sd card reader etc. All it offers is new shape, cameras front and back., faster prosseser and graphics. Not enough to justify a upgrade. But for people sitting on the fence the original Ipad is only £330 for the cheapest version. For that reason alone that is why I will invest in the first ipad

Time Time Time

It wasn’t long ago that i was ranting on about the cost of tech and how it stops us gadgeters enjoying and testing out all the new gadgets and games. Now ive just found another arch enemy which is preventing me from doing what I love and that is time. After completing a week’s work, completing my further education, house work, family commitments, sleeping and trying to keep the better half in check, or more to the fact bowing to all her commands.
What time do we have for tech. after all this?? For instance Saturday morning I went and treated myself to a certain Killzone 3. Since then It’s now Wednesday Morning I have had a total play time of 45 minutes. How depressing is that ive been foaming at the mouth about this game since the day I played the demo. I think I will have to give up on this sleeping malarkey, who needs sleep anyway??? Do you find yourself in the same situation? If so tell me your thoughts. Personally I wouldn’t want more hours in the day, how about a 3 day weekend. Now that would be nice.

Killzone 3. Unfortunate xbox only owners

How I can't wait for this Friday. The new Killzone is out. If you havnt got a ps3 I really really feel sorry for you. I've been playing the demo constantly and I can't see how this game will fail. It looks amazing, voice acting is good. Cut scenes look great but most importantly game play feels spot on. My one issue i had with Killzone 2 was that the movement was slow. This has been fixed and it feels great. Obviously I can't be the judge until ive played the final copy. But this is one game im very excited about. Unlucky xbox only users. Halos just had its pants pulled down.

Has your Smartphone taken over your life?

In recent light of Smartphone’s now out selling traditional PC this made me thing a bit about what mine is used for. And now I’m thinking I can’t live without this damn thing, its like a extension to my hand a sixth finger. If it’s not on or near me I break out in sweats. Questions fly around my head “where’s my phone?”, “I wonder who’s on Facebook chat?”,”what’s the latest twitter update?” “Has someone just commented on the video I’ve uploaded to YouTube?”.
The modern day Smartphone’s do everything instantly their at your finger tips. For instance I now have to wake up 10 minutes earlier each morning.. Why? To check my daily routine of apps. This include in this order as well. Facebook, Twitter, Engadget, Techradar, Newspapers and Emails. It’s taking over my life that’s for sure. I’m dreading to think in another years time I physically won’t be able to go to work because I’ll be checking millions more items on my phone.
Being constantly connected and having instant access is great in many ways than one. But could it ever become a burden on your life.
Let me know what you do with your Smartphone and if you could live without it….

Smartphones rule all

Well well well none of us can ever say we didn't see this coming. But Smartphones have outsold PCs for the first time ever. This has occurred in the first quarter of 2010. according to IDC's statistics 100.9 million smartphones where sold in that first quarter up over 87.9% each year over the previous 2 years before. But could this be bad for tech. If more and more companies start to aim
at this market. What will happen to the traditional PC? will it fall second best to the portable market?will it get devloped as fast as it could be.
How do you think this could effect the PC??
